An idol can be defined as an image or other material object representing a deity to which religious worship is addressed or any person or thing regarded with blind admiration, adoration, or devotion

this is the meaning of an Idol

There are billions of people with different idol because they respect them in different ways

Some well known some not so much

it depends on the person who chose them

To me an idol is like a role model of some sorts it can also be a thing for worshiping for religious activities

I chose the Idol of People

since they inspire me to do things that seems outrageous yet fulfilling

For say My Parents they are an Idol to me they were always there when I needed them and they educated me to do things I am today I admire them for being diligent in raising me properly

Another Idol of Mine is Confucius since I believe his teachings give good stories to tell and Morales to teach

God is an Idol to all he represent all emotions and cares for all without him we could not have been born at all he has also done many righteous things and just

And Finally another important Idol

simple all this achievements and efforts you have done is because you yourself done it who wouldn't be proud of what she or he has done there for you must idolize yourself for achieving amazing things

One must have an Idol they chose whole heartedly and not copy others they must choose who they think is right for their preference.
